Welcome to FSDM 2022!
Considering the uncertainty and changes caused by the global pandemic of COVID-19, organized and hosted by Huaqiao University, the 8th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM 2022) is to be held fully online via MS Teams during November 4-7, 2022, which was originally planned to be held in Xiamen City. With emphasis on Fuzzy Theory, Algorithm and System, Fuzzy Application, Data Mining and Interdisciplinary field of Fuzzy Logic and Data Mining, FSDM2022 consists of keynote speeches, invited speeches, oral presentations and poster presentations.
The past seven annual events are all held smoothly and successfully. FSDM2019, FSDM2018, FSDM2017, FSDM2016 and FSDM2015 are held on-site in Kitakyushu (Japan), Bangkok (Thailand), Taiwan, Macau and Shanghai (China) respectively. While the year of 2020 marks FSDM2020 as the first edition of FSDM conference in the 2020s which has been changed from onsite conference (Xiamen, China) to virtual conference without any physical participation due the COVID-19 pandemic at the very start of the decade. FSDM2021 is the second edition of FSDM conference that is changed from onsite conference (Seoul, South Korea) to virtual conference.
